The Goodman Top Five Education Moments from Summer 2022

Where do you spend your summer? When the weather is warm and the sun is shining, there’s no place we’d rather be than at the Goodman. And here are 5 of our Education Team’s most exciting moments from Summer ’22 to prove it.

A group of students perform a dance routine inside a brightly lit studio.

1. Students returned for the first in-person session of PlayBuild and the Musical Theatre Intensive since August 2019 and spent six weeks honing their skills as performers, creators and citizens of the world.

A group of teen boys use measuring tape and hold pencils while working together on a project.

2. Fourteen scholars from Rainbow Push Coalition’s STEM and Sports camp joined us in the Alice for Stage Chemistry lesson exploring how scale and ratio are used to design and build our sets.

A group of multigenerational performers stand in formation as they prepare to begin a dance routine. They are dressed in casual clothing and socks and are inside of a studio setting.

3. The Summer 2022 InterGens ensemble devised an original piece of virtual theatre, which took the shape of a fictional radio show: WGEN – Conscious Radio
